LARGO, Md. – Siri-Jacob Ramirez (Orlando, Fla./Cenapec [Dominican Republic]), Bay To (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann) and Dwayne Coleman (Lothian, Md./Southern) each smacked three-run homers to propel Prince George's Community College to a non-conference doubleheader sweep against Finger Lakes Community College on Saturday. The Owls (12-5-1) took the opener 15-5 in five innings and then rallied for a 5-3 victory in the nightcap.
Ramirez gave Prince George's the lead for good in the opener in the third after smacking a two-run triple and then trotting home on a wild pitch to account for the final three runs in a five-run third inning to erase a 3-0 deficit. The freshman then drilled a three-run homer in the fifth to push the margin to 10 runs to end the game. Ramirez finished the day 4-for-4 with five RBIs and three runs scored.
