Largo, Md. – After relinquishing a 19 point second half lead at home on Friday November 21, to CCBC Duldalk, the Owls men saw the opportunity for their first win of the season slipped right through their grasp. The Owls were dominant in the first half and held a 17 point lead heading into the half. Dundalk battled throughout the second half and were able to steal the win by a score of 91-82.
Although they were unable to earn their first win at home, it was a long weekend for the Owls men who were tasked with playing 3 games in as much days. With this, they rebounded in less than 48hrs when they travelled to play Westmorland County Community College and CCAC Allegheny on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
The team was more dominant and consistent in these games and were able to earn their first two wins of the season. In the game against Westmorland, the team maintained their halftime lead and cruised to a 98-71 victory. They followed this performance with their best offensive output of the short season and torched CCAC Allegheny by a score of 112-65. All participants for the Owls got on the score sheet with seven players in double figures. Patrick Johnson-Agwu had a game high 23 points and Malik Sneed led the way with 16 boards.
The Owls will put their 2 game win streak on the line when they try to earn their first home win on Wednesday, December 3. Tipoff is set for 7:00 PM.
