Owls Men Lose to ASA
Largo, Md. - The Owls men 2 game win streak was cut short on December 3, after facing off with ASA College. It was a good effort by the team as they made multiple runs in both halves to cut the lead to single digits. However, ASA was able to withstand the Owls momentum and eventually had enough offensive fire power to extend their lead and secure the win by a score of 95-76.
Sophomore Guard Donell Diggs was top scorer for the Owls with 17 points and 5 assist. Patrick Johnson-Agwu and Kenneth Pettaway also chipped in with 11 points 6 rebound and 10 points 4 rebounds respectively. Davon Taylor of ASA was the top scorer for the game with 21 points and 6 rebounds.
The Owls men will look to get back to winning ways when they travel to Davidson Community College to compete in the North Carolina Tournament on December 6th and 7th. They will play Northern Virginia Community College and Tidewater Community College. Start time for games is set for 4:30 PM and 2:00 PM respectively.
