Landis, King III Earn All-Region Honors
Prince George's Community College men's basketball student-athletes Jailin Landis (Second Team) and Lynn King III (Honorable Mention) have been selected as members of an NJCAA Region 20 Division II All-Region Team, it was announced on Friday, March 21st. Division II recognized 23 total student-athletes across the region; five on the First Team, five on the Second Team, and 13 named Honorable Mention. Landis (Capitol Heights, MD) was the lone returning starter on the Owls team this past year that finished the season 14-10. A two-way player on both ends of the floor, Landis excelled at getting to the basket and finishing through contact as evidenced by a team-high 378 points.
King III (Lanham, MD) played as a wing/forward combo for Prince George's and made an immediate impact from the start of the season. Starting 19 of 24 games for the Owls, King III finished third in team scoring with 257 points while often using his large frame to rise up over defenders to elevate his jumper.
