PGCC Owl Soccer Nation: Remembering an Owl Teammate

It is with heavy hearts that Prince George's Community College Athletics shares the passing of a true Owl icon, Kenneth "Kenny" Eisiminger (Class of 1983), who passed away on April 15, 2026.

Kenny exemplified what it meant to be a student-athlete. A standout on the pitch, he earned NJCAA/NSCAA All-American honors in 1983 before continuing his academic and athletic career on scholarship at Francis Marion University. He was a key member of one of the most successful eras in program history, helping to lead the Owls to back-to-back NJCAA Region 20 titles and appearances in the NJCAA National Tournament, where the team finished third and fifth in the nation.

His impact at Prince George's extended far beyond his playing days. As both a teammate and alumnus, Kenny remained deeply connected to the program, continuously supporting and uplifting those around him. In recognition of his lasting contributions, he was inducted into the PGCC Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2024.

Yet, those who knew "Minger" will remember him most for the person he was. He had a unique ability to bring people together, and his kindness, humor, and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. He embodied the heart of Owl Soccer, and his legacy will forever be a part of the program's brotherhood.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, teammates, and all who are grieving this loss.
