The Prince George's Community College women's soccer team saw their season come to a close on Saturday, October 25th, after falling to the #4 seeded Carroll Lynx on the road by a final score of 2-0. The Owls wrapped up their first season back in action with an overall record of 6-7-1, earning the #5 seed in the Region 20 Tournament thanks to a strong 6-3-1 divisional record.
Unfortunately, injuries throughout the year began to pile up, leaving the team with limited options off the bench and making substitutions difficult at times. Despite those challenges, the Owls continued to compete with determination and heart through the final whistle.
Head Coach Bonnie Hyde expressed pride in her team for their resilience and commitment throughout the season. She looks forward to returning to action in the spring before hitting the ground running in the fall of 2026, as the Owls aim to build on this year's progress and continue improving in the offseason.
