Osman’s Hat Trick Lifts Owls Over Southern Maryland, 4-1

Prince George's Community College men's soccer team earned a convincing 4-1 home victory over the College of Southern Maryland on Tuesday, September 30th in Largo, MD.

Sophomore forward Abdulsalam Osman led the charge with a dominant hat trick, scoring the Owls first three goals. The Hawks netted their first goal in the 37th minute to cut the Owls lead to 2-1 before halftime.

Prince George's maintained control in the second half as Osman completed the hat trick in the 62nd off the assist from teammate Miguel Santana Diaz before freshman Jose Montoya Esteban added his first collegiate goal in the 79th minute to seal the victory. The win improved the Owls record to 3-4-1 overall and marks a strong finish to the month.

As they head into a busy October month ahead, the Owls will look to carry their momentum into the into the final stretch of the regular season. Prince George's has four remaining Region 20 Division II contests on the schedule, with postseason hopes on the line. The month concludes with the Region 20 Division II tournament, set to begin on Saturday, October 25th.

Up first is a challenging matchup on the road against Montgomery College on Thursday, October 2nd at 5 PM.
