Defensive issues carried into game two, with the Owls again committing four errors. Prince George's quickly fell behind after surrendering three runs in the first inning and faced a 9-0 deficit by the fifth.
The Owls woke up in the sixth inning, plating four runs to cut into the lead. Bryan Perez got things started by drawing an RBI walk. Ramon Brito Jr. followed with a three-run double to provide another spark, but Prince George's was unable to generate any more runs in the seventh. Akil Barlow Jr. took the loss on the mound, allowing seven earned runs on nine hits across three innings.
With the pair of losses, Prince George's drops to 9-25 on the season. The Owls will look to bounce back in their next matchup against CCBC Dundalk on Saturday in Dundalk.
