Owls Soar Past Paul D. Camp, 102-62, Extend Win Streak to Four

Prince George's Community College men's basketball protected their home court once again on Saturday afternoon, rolling past Paul D. Camp Community College, 102-62, in front of another energized Owls crowd. The victory marks the team's second time eclipsing the century mark this season and pushes their win streak to four, improving them to 6-1 overall.

A balanced and efficient offensive attack defined the afternoon as 13 of the 14 Owls who saw action scored at least 3 points. Prince George's controlled the tempo from the opening tip, building a comfortable 45-25 advantage by halftime before erupting for 57 second-half points to put the game out of reach.

Sophomore transfer Dyan Carter led the way for the Owls with 15 points, electrifying the gym with a pair of highlight-reel dunks off the alley-oop in transition. Off the bench, Isaiah Mansaray and Willie Rivera Jr. each provided a spark with 14 points apiece, while Lynn King III added 10.

On the defensive end, Kadon Fossett set the tone, nearly posting a steals based double-double as he finished with 8 points and 7 takeaways, pestering the Hurricanes attack all afternoon.

With momentum building and team chemistry coming together, the Owls turn right around for a Sunday matchup, traveling to Annapolis to take on the Naval Academy's JV squad at 1 PM. Sunday's contest will be the Owls fourth game in just six days.
